The Deluge (Swedish Invasion of Poland)

Sweden invaded Poland-Lithuania in a devastating campaign that destroyed much of the country. The 'Deluge' killed an estimated one-third of Poland's population and permanently weakened the Commonwealth, beginning its long decline from great power status.
