Burmese–Siamese Wars

Over two centuries of intermittent warfare between Burma and Siam (Thailand) for dominance over mainland Southeast Asia. Burma sacked and destroyed the Siamese capital of Ayutthaya in 1767, one of the most devastating events in Thai history.
