Seminole Wars
1817 CE – 1858 CE · 41 years
Three wars fought between the United States and the Seminole people of Florida. The Second Seminole War (1835-1842) was the longest and most expensive Native American war in U.S. history. The Seminoles are one of the few tribes never to sign a peace treaty with the U.S.
