
Russo–Swedish War (1788–1790)

Gustav III of Sweden attacked Russia while Catherine the Great was distracted by the Ottoman War. Despite the Anjala conspiracy nearly toppling him, Gustav won the decisive Second Battle of Svensksund — the largest naval battle in Baltic history.
