Rhodesian Bush War

1964 CE – 1979 CE · 15 years

A guerrilla war against the white-minority government of Rhodesia. International sanctions and escalating guerrilla warfare forced the regime to negotiate, leading to majority rule and the creation of Zimbabwe in 1980.
