Polish–Muscovite War (Time of Troubles)
1605 CE – 1618 CE · 13 years
During Russia's Time of Troubles, Poland-Lithuania invaded and briefly occupied Moscow (1610-1612), placing a Polish garrison in the Kremlin. The Russian national militia's liberation of Moscow and the election of the first Romanov tsar ended the crisis.
