Northern Expedition (China)

1926 CE – 1928 CE · 2 years

Major military campaign by Chiang Kai-shek's Nationalist Revolutionary Army to unify China by defeating the northern warlords. Beginning with 100,000 troops, the NRA swept from Guangzhou to Beijing, nominally reunifying China and ending the Warlord Era.
