
Mozambican Civil War

A brutal 15-year civil war between the Marxist FRELIMO government and the RENAMO rebels, who were initially created by Rhodesian intelligence. The war killed nearly 1 million people, displaced 5 million, and devastated Mozambique's infrastructure.
