Ecuadorian-Peruvian War

1941 CE

Brief but decisive South American war over disputed Amazonian territories. Peru deployed 13,000 troops with armour and air support against 4,000 Ecuadorians, rapidly overrunning El Oro province. Included one of the first paratrooper operations in the Americas.
