Anglo-Sikh Wars

Two wars between the British and the powerful Sikh Empire of the Punjab. The Sikhs were among the most formidable opponents the British faced in India, fighting with European-trained armies. Their defeat gave Britain control of the Punjab and the famous Koh-i-Noor diamond.
