Cambodian Civil War

A devastating civil war fueled by the Vietnam War spillover. The Khmer Rouge's victory in 1975 led to the establishment of Democratic Kampuchea and the Cambodian genocide, which killed 1.5-2 million people — roughly a quarter of the population.
